A Community DayBig Crop performs

The town of Cowaramup, situated centrally in the Margaret River Wine Region, has a vibrant community.

While the focus of a field day is on showing new products, services and technology, the community atmosphere is what makes the event one to remember.

This year, a music stage allow local winemakers' band Big Crop to entertain exhibitors and visitors alike, while children had their own special area with a face painter and bouncy castle.

A Networking Occasion

Social networkingWhile presenting to visitors at a stand is obviously a vital part of the field day, networking amongst fellow exhibitors and sponsors can create just as many benefits for business.

The Margaret River Wine Industry Association hosted a social event on Friday, May 5, dedicated to bringing the exhibitors, sponsors and MRWIA members together in an informal and relaxed social setting at the Margaret River Education Campus.

Curtin University of Technology used the event to present its student awards, giving the students recognition in front of industry peers.

Vintage Stomp

The 2006 Landmark Wine Industry Field Day presented an opportunity to celebrate the end of vintage through the annual Vintage Stomp.

4,000 people from the Margaret River Wine Region and beyond attended Vintage Stomp on Sunday, May 7 at Voyager Estate.
