2009 Margaret River Wine Region Festival

The Margaret River Wine Region Festival presented by Channel 9 / WIN TV has an exciting program of events including the following highlights:
• Thursday 16 April –Vintage Vibe Street Fiesta & Wine Barrel Cart Race, Margaret River main street.
• Friday 17 April – Cabernet Cabaret & Fine Wine Auction featuring an Absolute Kylie tribute show at Saracen Estates.
• Saturday 18 April - Vintage Festival at Leeuwin Estate Amphitheatre, graze your way through over 50 of the region’s best wineries and foodies.
• Sunday 19 April – Vintage Concert with James Morrison & Deni Hines at Leeuwin Estate Amphitheatre.

Featuring: Cabernet Sauvignon and blends of (2004 vintage) with discussion leader being 2009's International Judge, Neil Martin.

with the variety being blends of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, with discussion leader being 2008's international judge, Jane Skilton from New Zealand.

2006 Margaret River Whites Day New Season Launch
The inaugural Margaret River Whites Day was held on Monday, October 16 at Frasers Restaurant, Kings Park.
The annual event is part of the Association’s strategic initiative to showcase the latest vintages from one of Australia’s premier fine wine regions. 
Following the success of the event, the Association will now look at taking it to Sydney and Melbourne in 2007.
This is a private tasting for wine trade and media, dedicated to the latest release white wines from Margaret River.
