2010 Margaret River Wine Region Festival

Dates - 8 - 12 April 2010

The annual Margaret River Wine Region Festival is an abundance of wine, food, music and art experiences.

The exciting program of events includes the following highlights:

• Thursday 8 April – Slow Food Long Table Feast, Leeuwin Estate

• Thursday 8 April - Street Fiesta, Dunsborough town centre

• Friday 9 April - Street Fiesta & Wine Barrel Cart Race, Margaret River main street

• Friday 9 April - Wine Auction & Cabernet Cabaret at Xanadu Wines

• Saturday 10 April - Vintage Festival at Leeuwin Estate Amphitheatre, featuring over 50 of the region’s best wineries and foodies plus the People’s Choice Poster Art Competition and local artisan displays.

• Sunday 11 April – Vintage Concert at Leeuwin Estate Amphitheatre featuring Daryl Braithwaite and Jon Stevens.

• Petanque Competition at Wise Wine (Saturday & Sunday)

• As well as food, wine & art events at individual wineries throughout the duration of the Festival
